Erik Zabel won yesterday’s stage of the Vuelta España beating Tom Boonen by a whisker. Isidro Nozal has the leader’s golden jersey for the eighth consecutive day, while third placed Manuel Beltrán (USPS-Berry Floor) lost over a minute after being caught in the wrong half of the peloton when it split in the final kilometres.
